EVENTURI Carbon Air Intake for Porsche 991 Turbo/S

The 991 Turbo Eventuri intake system has been developed through extensive field testing to enable the turbos to operate more efficiently. By replacing the single airbox with patented individual Venturi filter housings, the turbos are able to wind up and generate boost with less drag. As a result, the duty cycles of the relief valve are reduced, resulting in a maximum boost at a lower rpm and, consequently, performance is increased. The two individual filters provide a larger filtration area compared to the single panel filter.

In addition, in order to keep intake air temperatures low, the Venturi housings are sealed against an air duct that draws in ambient air from the same location as the original system. Since the engine compartment of the 911 Turbo is densely packed, high IATs can only be avoided by ensuring a fully sealed intake system.

The 911 Turbo Eventuri system uses the patented carbon fibre housings with Gen 2 custom filters, which provide an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbos. Not just another conical filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that invokes the Venturi effect and maintains laminar flow conditions to reduce drag on the turbo.
