The Intake Plenum specifically designed for the 997.2 Carrera Non-S 3.6L DFI is a direct bolt-on upgrade that replaces the stock air distributor and utilizes all pre-existing stock equipment, including the stock throttle body. origin of 82mm.

Improved IPD intake design allows for increased airspeed, resulting in impressive horsepower and torque gains for Porsche driving enthusiasts.

DFI's superior IPD intake chamber design delivers an additional 14 horsepower to the wheels. Unlike previous naturally aspirated IPD plenums which offered greater mid-range gains, IPD DFI plenums offer a similar power curve to factory, but are considerably more powerful from mid-range to redline, without loss of power at low revs.

Installation of the IPD 3.6L DFI stilling chamber is relatively simple and can be performed by DIYers with some mechanical inclination, although IPD strongly recommends that installation be performed by a trained and qualified technician.
