EVENTURI Carbon Air Intake for Audi S3 8Y

The S3 8Y intake is a complete redesign from the stock intake to the turbo intake. Eventuri maximized the use of available space to create an intake that can accommodate all power levels, from stock to high-power versions with hybrid or full-frame turbos. This intake system was developed to provide the highest possible flow while maintaining the lowest possible intake temperatures.

Every component has been designed to provide a smooth, flowing path for the turbo. The restrictive 73mm diameter intake tube is replaced by a larger 94mm diameter intake tube. The filter itself has an outer diameter of 192 mm or 7.5″ with a filtration area of over 110,000 mm^2. The patented Venturi housing was designed to provide the maximum possible internal volume for the available space in the S3 engine compartment and provides laminar flow to the turbo tube. Finally, the duct seals the filter opening to the front panel but is not limited by the stock inlet feed alone.

Eventuri raised the front of the duct to provide an additional opening behind the hood, which equates to an additional 7″ diameter hole for intake suction. The resulting system can significantly extend out of the stock airbox while keeping intake temperatures to a minimum thanks to the sealed design.

The S3 8Y Eventuri system uses patented carbon fiber housings that provide an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbo tube. Not just another conical filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that invokes the Venturi effect.
