EVENTURI Carbon Air Intake for BMW M3 G80

Introducing an intake that truly sets a benchmark for the BMW G8X M3/M4 platform. Eventuri has conducted extensive R&D to develop an intake that not only improves on the stock M3/M4, but is also future-proof in its ability to meet the needs of high-powered engines well in excess of 1000 hp.

The system is a complete redesign of the air boxes at the turbo inlets with the goal of reducing pressure drop while increasing flow and keeping inlet temperatures low. Eventuri maximized the use of available space to use 2 custom filters with 40% more filtration area than stock.These are used in the patented Venturi housings to smoothly channel air to the turbo inlets.

The inlets themselves have a cross-sectional area up to 160% larger than stock and are designed with an advanced honeycombed interior surface to reduce frictional losses between the flow and the wall boundary. By allowing a "cushion" of air at the wall surface, airflow can move through the inlets at higher flow rates with reduced pressure drop. This allows the turbos to draw air with less resistance and therefore reduce the duty cycle of the relief valve, resulting in higher overall performance.

The G8X M3/M4 Eventuri system uses the patented carbon fiber housings with Gen 2 custom filters, which provide an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbos. Not just another tapered filter with a heat shield, but a unique design that invokes the Venturi effect and maintains laminar flow conditions to reduce drag on the turbo.
