Conception:

The biggest obstacle when designing a performance intercooler for RS3s is the OEM crash bar, which often limits both physical size and ambient airflow to the intercooler. That's why do88 decided to design a new chromoly steel crash bar with a %C3%9840mm (1 5/8") tube. It installs like the OEM unit, but allows unrestricted ambient air flow and room to install our huge intercooler.All this while maintaining mounting points for your ACC Adaptive Cruise Control radar sensor and ambient temperature sensor.

Naturally, no formal crash tests have been carried out and it may not meet road-legal standards, but the durability of this crash bar makes it ideal for those building a high-performance track car.Our intercooler core, designed by renowned Garrett Motorsport, uses advanced aerospace technology. Densely packed, slim cooling fins make up the 97 mm thick core that offers efficient heat transfer, guaranteeing optimum performance.

MERA as in "more", means more cooling, better airflow, more performance. Quite simply, MERA!

To ensure compatibility with larger connections, the kit includes matching silicone hoses that connect with OEM intercooler pipes.

The welding of the end tanks to the core is meticulously carried out at the do88 factory in Sweden, guaranteeing superior quality.
