"Original catalytic converters are extremely restrictive, with catalytic cartridges up to 800 cells long! On some modern vehicles, they are even coupled with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter), which further restricts the engine.
Modifying the Headers & Cat pipe will significantly increase the performance of your C63 W204; Indeed, the original headers/manifold are absolutely poorly designed and restrict your V8 to the highest extent on the gaz flow, resulting in performances well below what this engine can really offer.
INNOTECH Manifolds therefore respond favorably to this logic with their "LongTube" and 4-in-1 design, in order to best extend the gas flows to promote torque. Modifying the catalytic converter (sport cat or decat) will complete the whole thing to obtain up to 100hp added after ECU remapping!
