The "Y" Pipe IPD was built for the most demanding Porsche Turbo owners. This is not a simple cast iron reproduction of the original "Y" duct, but a complete software re-design, to provide significantly greater air flow for both original / or upgraded Turbos.

The stock "Y" Pipe becomes restrictive when the car is optimized/tuned with significant power gains. The inlets are larger and the bypass area is optimized allowing for power gains. Flow is more efficient with an additional 126 cfm (Cubic Feet per Minute) over the original "Y" Pipe.

IPD has tested numerous internal surfacing techniques inside the plenum, including polishing, extrusion lapping, epoxy coating, and shot blasting to name a few.

The "Y" Pipe IPD can be ordered in custom colors in powder coated and ceramic or polished coatings to enhance the aesthetics of your Turbo engine.

The factory Y-Pipe becomes restrictive when adding substantial horsepower gains. The Y-Pipe IPD has wider inlets and an optimized deflection area allowing for even greater power gains. This superior, more efficient design pumps out 126 cfm more than the factory Y-Pipe, providing the extra power needed to raise the performance bar on any Turbo.

Bigger isn't always better, and the Y-Pipe IPD is designed to provide optimal flow without being too big, which would cause a loss of boost response. These Y-Pipes can also be ordered in custom powder coated and ceramic colors or polished to enhance the aesthetic appeal of your Turbo engine.

The IPD 997 Turbo Y-Pipe is designed as a direct replacement for the stock Y-Pipe. No modification or fabrication is required to install the Y-Pipe IPD. This is an easy and straightforward R&R (remove and reinstall) bolt-on upgrade.

Can be used with stock 74mm throttle body or IPD Competition 82mm throttle body and plenum.
